Excavator and haul truck loading workflow

Coordinate spotting, loading and release without losing load counts.

Keep the sequence clear

The truck approaches on the agreed route, spots in the defined loading position, receives the load, and clears the area before the next truck enters. Conditions at the bench and communication with the operator matter as much as cycle speed.

Make production traceable

Record which truck carried each material category and whether the load used a standard estimate or measured tonnage. A disputed total can then be traced to individual loads instead of being treated as an unexplained shift number.

In practice

If scale data shows 42 tons for one load, preserve that actual value rather than forcing the default 45-ton estimate.
