Production
Set a daily target from a monthly mine quota
Calculate what is required over remaining operating days without assuming every day is full length.

Count real workdays
Subtract production already credited, then divide by remaining full-day equivalents. A half day should count as a fraction, not as a full production day.
Show capacity and risk
Compare the required daily rate with recent actual output, equipment availability and weather. A mathematically valid target may still be operationally unrealistic.
In practice
A 100,000-ton target with 60,000 already credited and four full-day equivalents left requires 10,000 tons per equivalent day.
