What belongs in a Part 46 training plan?

A plan identifies who trains miners, what is taught and how the operation documents each session.

Map the actual mine

Name the mine or contractor and the person responsible for training, identify competent trainers, and describe the subjects and methods for new miner, experienced miner, new task and refresher training. A generic plan is less useful than one that reflects the site's equipment and hazards.

Connect plan to evidence

A plan describes intended training; completion records demonstrate what happened. Keep both available and distinguish an assigned course from a completed and certified session.

In practice

If a haul truck is added, review the task instruction and the people assigned to it before the first shift.
